Training
The High Camera Photography is a provider of high quality photography training in the Hedland area.
Classes are run by the owner and operator of THE HIGH CAMERA, Andy Brooke, as well as selected visiting professional photographers. Andy is a full time commercial photographer, and has taught dozens of local residents how to unlock their photographic creativity through group courses (including classes run through Pilbara TAFE) and private tuition, from local journalists and budding professionals to hobbyists and beginners looking to learn the capabilities of their newly purchased cameras. Available courses range from short beginners’ courses to more advanced quarterly courses that delve into a range of creative techniques.
Courses offered by THE HIGH CAMERA have strict maximum numbers in order to assure participants receive the necessary individual attention, and all students are provided with support and advice long after the conclusion of the course.
Our private tuition sessions make a fantastic accompaniment to your new camera, as well as being a great way to brush up on existing skills or to acquire more advanced techniques. Gift vouchers are available – please contact us for details.
In addition, THE HIGH CAMERA TRAINING operates weekend photographic group retreats to various locations in the region, offering the opportunity for participants to experience some of the wonderful scenery around the area and meet and interact with other local photography enthusiasts, all fully catered and with a range of accommodation options. All retreats are led by Andy and participants have full access to his wealth of knowledge in the techniques and skills that make creating stunning images possible.
